This project consisted of approximately 132,728 square feet of new, type 1 fire-resistive construction for labs, offices, and classrooms. It is constructed over an existing sub grade multi-level concrete-frame parking garage. There were also improvements made to the garage while still allowing students to park as needed. This project obtained a silver LEED certification. The mechanical and plumbing systems for this project included; geothermal heat pump, natural ventilation, storm water collection, waterless urinals, variable volume laboratory exhaust, transfer air, and plenum return. Hydro-Temp assisted Lease Crutcher Lewis in preconstruction budgeting and post bid value engineering.
