Summertime Water Conservation

Summer + Water = Fun

Summer is right around the corner and most of us who live the Pacific Northwest, savor the few opportunities we get for summertime outdoor activities. While enjoying the sunny weather, we should all make an effort to prevent wasteful water usage. According to the State Department of Water Resources, each of us uses about 250 gallons of water a day (in the summer), which is more than twice what we use in the winter. For more information about outdoor water conservation, please take a look at OWRD's brochure.
